Howells homeowners don't need another sales pitch about their roof — they need someone who shows up, explains what's actually wrong, and fixes it right the first time.
Roof Repair Smedway grew out of Howells, NE job sites, not a corporate rollout plan — that's still how we staff every Hail Damage Roof Repair crew we send to Howells.
Every lead technician we send to a Howells property carries current Howells, NE licensing and full insurance, and we'll produce that paperwork before you ask twice.
A roof repair that's "close enough" tends to fail again within a year, usually during the exact storm it was supposed to handle. We don't build that way.
Every lead installer carries current Howells, NE credentials.
A midnight call gets the same urgency as a noon call.
No invoice surprises once work is underway.
Crews dispatched from within Howells, NE, not another region entirely.
A roof rarely just fails one day — it usually spends months quietly showing signs that get written off as cosmetic.
The earlier one of these signs gets a proper look, the smaller the repair usually stays; waiting rarely makes a roof problem cheaper to fix.
Shingles shed their protective granules as they wear down, and a gutter full of grit is an early tell.
A cupped shingle traps moisture instead of shedding it, which speeds up decking rot underneath.
Daylight visible through the attic roof boards means water has the same path in.
Sagging or soft drywall usually points to sustained moisture, not a single isolated drip.
An unexplained bill increase is worth checking against your roof's condition.
Exposed underlayment is only a temporary barrier — it's not built to handle sustained exposure.
Not every call needs the same fix, so we scope each Howells job individually instead of running everything through one generic quote.
Read through the categories and you'll usually recognize your own roof problem in one of them — that's intentional, since we scope calls the same way we've organized this list.
When wind or hail rips open a section of roofing, we tarp it fast to stop water intrusion, then schedule the permanent fix right behind it.
Our residential scope covers shingle repair, full reroofs, ventilation upgrades, and skylight flashing fixes.
We schedule commercial jobs to minimize disruption to tenants and foot traffic wherever possible.
We'll tell you honestly whether your roof needs a full replacement or just a targeted repair — we don't default to the bigger invoice.
A proper inspection checks flashing, fasteners, ventilation, and granule wear before small issues become leaks.
Chimney crickets, skylight seals, and valley flashing are common leak points that general repair crews often miss.
Homeowners tell us the not-knowing is often worse than the repair itself, so we try to remove as much guesswork from the process as we can.
A dispatcher logs your address, roof type, and the problem, then schedules based on urgency.
A technician walks the roof and, when accessible, checks the attic side for the full picture.
An itemized estimate is delivered before any work starts, covering materials, labor, and cleanup.
Once approved, the crew completes the work to manufacturer spec and cleans the site before leaving.
If you've been burned by a roofing company before, these are the specific things we do differently, not just a promise that we're "better."
We give you an honest arrival window instead of a vague "sometime this week."
The number you approve in writing is the number on your final invoice, barring an approved scope change.
Our installers follow manufacturer spec on every underlayment overlap and fastener pattern, not general guesswork.
If the finished work doesn't match what was agreed, we come back and fix it at no charge.
We've worked with enough local carriers to know what actually speeds up claim approval.
If a repair solves the problem, that's what we recommend — we don't push a replacement to inflate the invoice.
A verbal promise means nothing when you actually need it, so ours is documented and handed over at project close.
We also guarantee the number on your estimate — barring a scope change you approve first, that's the number on your invoice.
We'd rather explain a guarantee in plain language upfront than have a homeowner discover the fine print later.
We stage crews across Howells, NE so a storm hitting one part of the region doesn't leave the rest of Howells waiting.
Routes are planned around Howells's actual streets and access points, not a generic radius drawn on a map, which is part of why our arrival windows tend to hold up.
Homeowners just outside Howells proper sometimes assume they're too far for a standard visit, but our dispatch radius usually reaches further than people expect.
